Spring Break Fun at The Dis

I look forward to Spring Break every year. It is such a wonderful time of family bonding and memory making. This year we did a similar trip as last year except we added our little angel baby to the mix. Friday was my first day off and we made our way to The Dis to begin our trip with friends, Fantasia Golf, and then some family time at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.

Mom, Kaitlyn, Papa, and even Roxy met us at Magic Kingdom Saturday and we tried our best to not get heat exhaustion. We had started the day eating at Be Our Guest for their second ever breakfast and Caleb even got to try some of my bananas. That was a first for him and it couldn't be at a more perfect place. My chocolate covered cronut was to die for, and I may have eaten half of Connor's french toast.

Connor was able to guilt trip Papa into coming and couldn't wait to go on Peter Pan with him. It is a well known fact the Papa is not a huge fan of Disney World but he will do anything for Connor.

The new courtyard past Main Street is beautiful and it was a lot to take in. Open garden areas and fountains will make watching the fire works at night more enjoyable, though we didn't stay that long because we had dinner reservations at Ohana. That's a lot of great food in one day.

Connor took the picture of Papa and Grandma all by himself!

Sunday was a half day at Animal Kingdom and Mommy and Daddy got to go on a date to Expedition Everest. The big new ride Connor went on was Dinosaur, and he may or may not have screamed at the dinosaur trying to attack our car. I held onto him, he held on to me, the picture is priceless.

Papa even won a prize at the carnival games in Dinoland!

At around 3 o'clock we picked up Roxy from puppy camp, said goodbye to Daddy and Papa, and drove 6 hours up the road before calling it a night. The next morning we climbed back into the minivan and did the final 6 hours and made it to our final destination, Lynchburg. Cue the Hallelujah Chorus!
